Can we really lose our motivation? How is that possible?
We feel motivated when we are doing something and we are smashing it as if we were ON FIRE! You start to build momentum and feel excited and simply don’t want to stop, it’s awesome!
Motivation is something that you always have inside, is not possible to lose it, but sometimes we feel like it goes away, Why? Because what you actually lose is FOCUS.
Focus is what keeps you with the eyes on the prize, if you get distracted or you have so many things going one at the same time, it’s very easy seeing your focus flip away, and then what? Things start to get difficult, you move around without any clear direction and…
“I just don’t feel motivated anymore”, “I don’t want this” “I don’t know what I want”, “I just don’t feel passion anymore”, “My plate is full”, “I don’t feel like it”.
I’ve been there and sometimes, I still am. We live surrounded by distractions like really bad TV shows, social media, people at work, at the gym, “friends”, you name it; There are distractions everywhere and if people around you see you too focus, then you are freak!
But guess what? We only have one life, so we better make it count! Become a Fighter.
1. Simple Step… MINI GOALS.
What is important to you? What do you want now? What do you really care?
Think about it, take your time because this is about you, and you matter. Write it down and make it clear.
Start your day really anchoring on your dream.
Set 3 mini goals for the day.
This will make you move towards your Big Goal. Have a moment to explore and analyse what could it be and commit to it.
Avoid all distractions.
Do not check your phone, emails and Instagram first thing in the morning. Create your own champion routine to help you get focus and ready for the day.
High-performers not only work to keep their head in the game, they get very specific on what the head is going to be working on so they can avoid all the things that would make them lose their precious time and focus.
The major reason why people feel they are losing motivation is because of their lack of momentum. Stop being busy on things are not important to you and invest your time in what you really want to achieve.
Get momentum. Set 3 Goals and fire up! What must happen today? Focus on that and act!
